I couldn't believe the gorgeous views in every direction from the rooms, not at all like I had seen on the booking site. The hotel upgraded us for our special event, and it felt like a whole village experience. However, the price was a bit high for what was offered.
The hotel offers an odd-shaped, somewhat small room facing the outdoor pools and gym, but with a great bathroom. The staff at the 1000-year-old castle location is top-notch, always available, and warm. The Tuscan landscape provides a tired yet charming setting to explore. The dining experience at La Cantina is delightful, with an upscale touch.
